Pied à Terre Kitchen, Pimlico SW1
This pied à terre set in a leafy London Square in Pimlico was recently completely refurbished by the owner who chose the Metallics Collection in copper to furnish her kitchen/living room. The kitchen packs a visual punch by contrasting antiqued copper and dark stained oak with rich Marine Blue from Little Greene on the walls, adding blue velvet bar stools with a brushed brass base to tie the various elements together.
“I was so excited when I saw the Metallics Collection for the first time” says the owner. “It was the kitchen I'd had in my head but hadn’t seen before. I particularly like the fact that the furniture looks like standalone pieces, not standard square kitchen cabinets – and I love the copper!”

I’d known for a long time that I wanted a copper kitchen, but despite a lot of searching just hadn’t seen anything like it. Which was why I was so thrilled to discover Ledbury Studio – the Metallics Collection was exactly the kitchen I’d had in my head! My kitchen is in an open-plan living room and I was adamant that the furniture shouldn’t look like standard square kitchen units. Therefore, I was over-the-moon when I saw the glass-fronted dresser and copper-fronted cabinet that Charlie had designed, as they resemble standalone pieces of furniture.
