How we work
At Ledbury Studio, our way of working is deliberate and collaborative.
We take time at the beginning of a project to understand the space and what you need from it. This includes appreciating how the kitchen will be used and what matters most day to day. Besides the practical element, we also explore what feels stylistically right for the home to ensure we create a scheme that blends seamlessly with the rest of your home. Only then do we begin on the design.
By keeping our studio small and focused, we remain closely involved throughout the entire process, from ideation to installation. Ideas are developed through conversation, drawings and careful consideration, with an emphasis on resolving details properly rather than rushing decisions.
The design and making process are closely linked, which allows us to think practically as well as creatively. This leads to kitchens that are well planned and crafted and, most importantly, perfectly suited to their homes.
Our philosophy
Our philosophy centers on the belief that a kitchen should be as unique and personal as the people who live with it.
We approach each project as a blank canvas, an opportunity to understand the client’s lifestyle and vision, and then craft something entirely bespoke in response.
At the heart of this philosophy is a belief in genuine craftsmanship and thoughtful material use. We embody this ethos in our willingness to explore new ideas, whether that means developing a metal patina, sourcing rare timber, or inventing a custom handle.
