Initial Consultation
Whether you contact us by phone or email, the journey starts with understanding your project: your home, your plans, your timeline and your aspirations for the space.
If available, architectural drawings or layout sketches help us offer early guidance. If possible, we also would like you to visit the studio to explore materials and begin shaping the vision together.
Project Exploration
We’ll talk about how you live, what inspires you and the look and feel you want to achieve.
A visit to our Notting Hill studio gives you a chance to experience our craftsmanship first-hand.
If we have enough information, we can often provide an initial ballpark figure at this stage.
The visit helps refine the project brief and ensures we’re aligned on direction, budget, and expectations.
Design Development
Once you’re ready to proceed, we move into detailed design.
This stage is about refining the layout, proportions and material choices, so the kitchen feels fully resolved.
Drawings are developed and presented for discussion. Materials are reviewed in person and practical considerations such as storage, appliances and internal organisation are carefully thought through. We take the time to ensure every element works together before anything moves forward.
Technical Detailing
When the design is agreed, we prepare it for making.
This includes a full site survey to confirm dimensions and conditions, followed by detailed technical drawings for the workshop and suppliers. Every junction, fixing and material interface is resolved at this stage so that production runs smoothly and installation is precise.
It is a quieter but essential part of the process, ensuring your design can actually be turned into reality.
Production & Ordering
With technical drawings complete and materials confirmed, the kitchen moves into production.
This requires a 50% deposit of the total kitchen cost.
Cabinetry is made, specialist finishes are developed and bespoke elements such as metalwork or custom handles are fabricated. Appliances and components are ordered in line with the agreed schedule.
Because we take on a limited number of projects each year, production is carefully managed and given appropriate attention.
Installation
Once the kitchen components are ready and the client's site is prepared, installation is scheduled.
We handle the complete fit – including cabinetry installation, appliance placement and all finishing touches – on-site.
The process is overseen by our design and technical team to ensure the end result matches the vision and quality promised.
Our kitchens are bespoke and can be complex, with custom joinery and specialised components, so the installation is managed by our own team or partners who understand the intricacies of each project.
Completion & Handover
Once installation is complete, we review the kitchen thoroughly. Any final adjustments are addressed and we check that everything is working as it should.
Handover marks the point at which the kitchen becomes part of your daily life. But should anything need attention as you and your kitchen get to know each other, we continue to be available.
