The Primrose Hill Kitchen

Our client spent 2 years refurbishing this beautiful Victorian house in Primrose Hill. Ledbury Studio was asked to design a contemporary kitchen in this open plan space incorporating a banquette dining area and sitting area in the conservatory at the back. Our client’s brief was that the kitchen should have a contemporary style without being clinical, so Charlie incorporated texture and different finishes throughout the kitchen; fluted oak cabinets crafted from dark stained oak were used on the wall above the sink and painted fluted panels add interest on the island.

Painted oak panels to show the grain of the wood are used on the base cupboards to add further texture, while the tall cupboards have Ledbury’s signature patinated brass Francesca handles as a feature. Understated amber quartz worktops and splashbacks complete the scheme in this kitchen full of contemporary charm and understated chic.
