The Chelsea Pied à Terre

This Chelsea pied à terre is a masterclass in open-plan living. Despite the room’s relatively compact proportions ( 5m x 7m ), the homeowners needed the space to work for cooking, eating and living. They came to Ledbury Studio for a kitchen that would both furnish the space and enhance the overall look of the open-plan room.

“Just because a kitchen is bijou, it doesn’t mean it can’t be big on style, and I think this project perfectly demonstrates this”, says Charlie. “We have hidden much of the functionality behind closed doors, meaning that all you can see is a collection of handmade pieces of furniture. So whether the family are dining at the table or lounging in the living room they always have a beautiful view”.
