The Sevenoaks Kitchen

Our clients bought their beautiful house in the heart of the Kent countryside ten years ago and proceeded on a complete refurbishment with the exception of the kitchen. The final step to completing their dream home was to approach Ledbury Studio for the kitchen. They wanted a contemporary kitchen with exciting touches, a kitchen which did not look anyone else’s and was unique to them.

The kitchen is part of a large open plan space leading on to a glass filled orangery for dining and living,  with sweeping views of the countryside. As there is plenty of light Charlie chose a dark stained oak as the main material for the kitchen with copper and patinated brass accents to add interest and variety in this large space. The run of tall cupboards incorporating the fridge freezer, breakfast and larder cupboards are adorned with beautiful copper verdisgris panels, making them a feature on this wall, and liquid metal trims on the glazed and copper fronted cupboards add to the detail. Other Ledbury Studio’s signature  touches are seen in the fluted painted wall cabinetry and the oak choppy water finishes on the drinks cupboard which comes with a bifold door, so that the cupboard looks as beautiful opened or shut.

The kitchen is a family kitchen with space for dining at the breakfast bar on the island. The Quartzite Monte Cristo Oro chosen for the island worktop , continues to deliver the wow factor, with waterfall sides, as a magnificent centrepiece in this one of a kind sleek and stylish kitchen.
